AGS introduces the Campbell Lecture series
For her AGS clients, Madeline Campbell made learning about administrative law enjoyable, relevant and accessible. In 2014, AGS honours this accomplishment with the 3-part Campbell Lecture series, which presents a new cast of speakers and topics for the administrative law and decision-making challenges of today.
Before her retirement in 2007, Madeline worked for AGS and the Attorney-General’s Department for more than 30 years and was a practice leader in administrative law and litigation, and in information law advising and training, recognised nationally and internationally for her knowledge and skill. She will join us at the 2014 Campbell Lectures.
The first lecture is on Tuesday 25 February at the National Arboretum in Canberra and will discuss sustainable decision-making and the limits of statutory power. It will feature distinguished guest speakers, the Hon Justice John Edward Griffiths of the Federal Court of Australia and Dr Geoff Airo-Farulla of the Commonwealth Ombudsman, as well as AGS's Tim Moe.
