AGS's Glenn Owbridge was announced Government Lawyer of the Year in the Australian Corporate Lawyers Association (ACLA) Australian In-house Lawyers Awards 2011 at their glamorous annual dinner at the Regent Theatre in Melbourne last night.
Glenn is an exceptional lawyer who, as Deputy General Counsel Competition and Consumer Law, provides the professional leadership of the competition and consumer law team within AGS. He was nominated for his dedication to legal excellence, his unequalled expertise in competition litigation and advice, and generous mentoring of practitioners across Australia.
AGS was also one of 3 finalists announced in the Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility category for our pro bono program managed by Bronwyn Neroni.
When ACLA announced the Awards, they said, 'This year's Awards attracted unprecedented interest from the in-house legal community and, as a result, we have received a number of highly impressive nominations.'
