GOVERNMENT LAW GROUP SEMINARS
Our Government Law Group seminars are for Australian
Government employees. These brief sessions give clients
an opportunity to learn more about current and emerging
government legal issues, and the implications of
recent High Court decisions. Seminar information
is often published later in Legal
briefings.
Seminars occur every month or two in various capital
cities. Recent issues covered include water rights,
public interest immunity, the relationship between
state and Commonwealth laws, managing risk and liability,
anti-terrorism legislation, tips for tendering, remaking
decisions, legal professional privilege, delegations
and authorisations, and the Work Choices Act.
Clients wanting to know more about Government Law
Group seminars should contact Olive
Bassett-Macleod.
