Training courses
2009 is an exciting year for training at AGS, as we have introduced seven new courses to complement the wide variety of modules that are already on offer.
The first addition is a five-day intensive training course on administrative law called 'Excellence in Government Decision-making', which we have developed in partnership with the University of Sydney. To view more details of this exciting new course, go to the left hand side of the page and click on the button marked 'University of Sydney/AGS Administrative Law with credit option'.
Our Commercial law training has been extended through the addition of five new courses which range from two-hour and half-day courses: ‘Procurement Tips and Tricks’, ‘Scoping – Statement of Requirements’, 'Regulation 10', ‘Indemnities' and 'Tendering Tips and Tricks’.
In addition, we have developed a new Government law training course titled 'Financial Delegations', which is an advanced module to the ‘Spending government money – the legal framework for officials' (previously called the 'Commonwealth Financial Framework') and 'Delegations and Authorisations’ courses.
