DUE DILIGENCE
In many commercial transactions such as asset sales, acquisitions
and outsourcing, a thorough and robust due diligence process
is critical to the successful outcome of the transaction.
The conduct of due diligence should facilitate the identification
and treatment of matters and issues impacting on the transaction.
Our lawyers are highly experienced in the establishment,
management and conduct of cost-effective and comprehensive
due diligence reviews tailored to meet our clients’ objectives.
We are skilled in participating in or managing due diligence
processes involving commercial, financial and other advisers
and entities.
We are alert to the legal and associated issues likely
to arise during due diligence in commercial transactions,
including those issues that are encountered in transactions
involving the Australian Government and other government
entities.
AGS has undertaken legal due diligence for the Australian
Government in many major commercial transactions. These
include the trade sales of 21 federal airports incorporating
Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth international airports,
and the trade sale and public float of Qantas Airways Limited.
