AGS's probity practice is the authoritative adviser to government on probity matters.

We can advise on a wide range of probity issues – from simple processes to high-profile complicated procurements and funding programs. We regularly advise on Commonwealth legislation and policies relevant to such processes, including the PGPA Act, the Commonwealth Procurement Rules, the Commonwealth Grant Rules and Guidelines and the Public Service Act 1999.

Our range of probity services include general probity advice on grant, funding agreement and procurement processes, review and sign-off on program and procurement documentation, development of probity plans, advising on confidentiality provisions and issues of procedural fairness, confidentiality and conflicts of interest and reviewing and sign-off of evaluation reports.

We advise on compliance with relevant legislation, government policy and accountability requirements and help draft or review protocols for managing information, bidder communications, site visits, industry briefings and offer-definition activities. We advise on tender evaluation and clarification processes, including attending and advising at key evaluation meetings.

We offer probity advice on best and final offers or request for revised offers and assistance with contract negotiation (or renegotiation) strategies and protocols.

We have been probity adviser on procurement and funding matters for hundreds of matters.
