National Manager Office of General Counsel

As the National Manager for the Office of General Counsel (OGC), Darryl contributes significantly to the strategic and day-to-day operation of AGS’s key advising and constitutional law practice. She has a focus on ensuring OGC has the right professional staff profile to support client work at all levels now and for the future, building a positive work culture focused on providing a high standard of client service and technical excellence. She also has a focus on the appropriate allocation of OGC’s lawyer and financial resources and on meeting corporate targets.

Darryl has extensive experience in legal management and in leading and managing legal teams, including teams of lawyers, investigators and support staff. She has over 30 years’ experience in legal roles, having first practised in criminal law and subsequently for many years specialised in administrative law, and extensive experience in senior public sector roles.

Darryl is also the Client Service Manager for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and the National Indigenous Australians Agency.
