Senior Executive Lawyer, Outpost Manager

Geetha has extensive experience across litigation spheres as well as undertaking several outpost roles within in-house legal branches of client agencies, including as General Counsel at the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority, the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority and in the Australian Taxation Office’s in-house legal team. She is deeply involved in the important area of community work, having been in the role of National Manager of AGS Pro Bono Services since 2010 and winning several pro bono awards for the AGS program.

Geetha is also the Convenor of the Commonwealth Corporate Entities Legal Network which AGS established in 2011 with the aim of bringing together CCEs to discuss common issues of interest. More recently she has been focusing on the planning and delivery of AGS training for clients, and also managing the AGS Graduate Program, which helps to develop the legal talent of the future.
