Louise is a member of the Dispute Resolution’s Security and Enforcement team with over 15 years’ experience at AGS. She acted in the role Senior Executive Lawyer from 2018 until 2023 when she secured a permanent appointment to that role.

Louise brings a wealth of experience to her work, specialising in royal commissions and inquiries. She was Assistant Solicitor Assisting the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability, Co-Solicitor Assisting the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety and the Solicitor Assisting the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse during the final year of the Commission. She excels in managing the complexities of multi-jurisdictional joint commissions of inquiry and is highly skilled in investigation, hearing development, and complex evidence analysis.

Before her work in Royal Commissions, Louise focused on tax litigation and advisory matters. She assisted counsel in interviews under the Income Tax Assessment Act 1936 (Cth) and supported the Commissioner of Taxation in using compulsory access and information production powers.

Louise has a strong track record in litigation. She has represented the Commonwealth in a variety of proceedings across various jurisdictions.

In recognition of her exceptional contributions, Louise won the AGS Sydney Director’s Award for her role as Lawyer Assisting the AGS Special Counsel in Tax Litigation and the Secretary’s Award for her contribution to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.
