Senior Executive Lawyer

Suzannah Auld first started at AGS in 2006, and quickly became a key member of the Tax team. In late 2019, she moved to private practice where she acted for the Australian Taxation Office. In January 2025, Suzannah returned to AGS, as a Senior Executive Lawyer, and is based in Brisbane in the Dispute Resolution Tax team. She has a wealth of experience in running litigation across complex legislative regimes and technical industry matters.

Suzannah has acted for the Commissioner of Taxation in numerous tax disputes dealing with a range of issues including income tax, superannuation guarantee charges and GST. She has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution and prelitigation matters as well as novel proceedings and matters that received test case funding.

She has acted for the Deputy Commissioner of Taxation in complex debt recovery matters which included asset recovery proceedings, freezing orders, the appointment of liquidators and provisional liquidators, intervening in Family Court proceedings and the sale of various assets.

While in private practice, she also became involved with large construction, mining and resource-based clients, assisting with high value, complex commercial disputes. Suzannah has advised the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission and the Australian Energy Regulator on complex investigations and litigation.
