Lisa is a highly experienced commercial lawyer, specialising in technology procurement, privacy and data security, intellectual property (including brand protection and licensing), and competition and consumer law. Lisa has over 20 years’ experience advising government and private sector clients on complex transactions and regulatory matters. She has a strong track record supporting public sector projects, and extensive experience advising Commonwealth, state and territory government agencies on major projects involving data sharing, digital services and infrastructure. Lisa regularly advises clients on interpretation and compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, including conducting privacy impact assessments (PIAs), managing data breaches and delivering training. Lisa has advised on the strategic management of Australian and international trade mark portfolios and has assisted clients in all aspects of intellectual property protection. She is a registered trade mark attorney.
