Senior Executive Lawyer
Grace is a senior member of the Dispute Resolution Administrative Law team, she also serves as Client Service Manager for the Department of Home Affairs. She was appointed as a Senior Executive Lawyer in 2024.
Grace has particular expertise in providing advice to agencies on managing litigation risk in high-profile decision-making. She represents Commonwealth agencies in judicial and merits review proceedings before the Administrative Review Tribunal, Federal Circuit and Family Court, Federal Court and High Court, regularly appearing as solicitor-advocate.
Previously, Grace worked as a Senior Lawyer at the Government Legal Department in the United Kingdom, managing high-profile public law litigation and inquiry work for the Cabinet Office, Department for Work and Pensions, Department of Health and Social Care, and the Home Office.
Earlier in her career, she was a Legal Officer at the Department of Immigration and Citizenship and Counsel in AGS’s Office of General Counsel where she advised Commonwealth agencies on administrative law, statutory interpretation, legislative development, human rights law and constitutional law.
