Omran, Felisa

Felisa is part of AGS’s Commercial practice and has been with AGS since 2018, following a successful career in private practice. She was appointed to the role of Senior Executive Lawyer in 2022.

Felisa has extensive expertise in advising on the application of the Lands Acquisition Act 1989 (Cth), Commonwealth acquisitions and disposals – including transactions supporting major infrastructure projects – and various property matters relating to Commonwealth-owned airports. She specialises in all aspects of commercial property law, including leasing (residential, retail, commercial, and industrial), freehold acquisitions and disposals, and property developments.

Felisa’s dedication and expertise were recognised when she received an award for her work at the then Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development Communications and the Arts in 2021. She received a Secretary’s Award for excellence in collaboration, support and analytical advice on the disposal of Commonwealth land.

Alongside her legal practice, Felisa holds a Client Service Manager role and she is Acting Team Leader for the Commercial practice area’s Canberra/Sydney/Brisbane group.
