Senior Executive Lawyer

Laura leads AGS Commercial’s Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth teams. Drawing on her experience in private practice and in house settings both in the public and private sector, Laura brings to our team extensive experience in advising on commercial projects, procurements, investment and governance arrangements.

Laura specialises in advising on legal, probity and governance arrangements for complex energy infrastructure programs such as the Capacity Investment Scheme and Rewiring the Nation, including the development and negotiation of inter-governmental agreements.

Laura regularly assists Commonwealth clients with procurement processes, including in connection with ICT projects such as the Bureau of Meteorology’s program of cyber-security initiatives.

Laura has a long-standing interest in science and technology and regularly assists science and research-based agencies with cooperative research agreements and broader commercial arrangements.

Laura holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) from Monash University. She also earned a Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne and is currently pursuing a Graduate Diploma in Energy and Resources Law at the University of Melbourne.
